Passengers, after disembarking, passthrough the arrivals immigration desk line.
It is possible to obtain a visa at the airport according to the state regulations
on immigration. You will receive additional information by calling telephone
7207246. Then passengers enter baggage claim area where a conveyor belt
delivers the baggage, and move to the customs area.
In order to get to the center of Riga from the airport, you should drive 13 km
taking a bus or a taxi, or rent a car. There is a bus stop in front of the terminal
building, straight after the car parking area, it can be accessed through the
arrivals level. Public bus route N 22 will take you to the center. Frequency is
20-30 minutes, and hours of operation 5.50 a.m.-11.15 p.m. Ride time to the center
of Riga is 30 minutes. Tickets are available in the Airport Post Office, the
price is 0,14 Ls.
Airport guests can use also taxis. The taxi stop is located in front of the
terminal building. Taxi sales counter is situated in the arrivals greeting area.
A ride to the center takes about 15 minutes. The price for ride is 0,30 Ls per km.
Deutsch-Lettische Bank is situated on the departures level, it is open
from 9.00-18.00,ex Sat, Sun, tel 7207990, 7207991.
Parex Bank is located an the arrivals level. It is open daily from
6.00-22.00, tel 7297572, 7207621.
Mastercard, Eurocard and Cirrus card holders may use their
cards in cash dispenser that is situated at the arrivals level.
Post Office is located in the arrivals area. Daily from 8.00-13.00,
13.30-19.00, tel 7213171.
