Amsterdam, January 19, 1998:
EUnet International broadcasts the Red Bull Sauber Petronas Formula 1-Team 98 presentation "live" over the Internet via RealAudio/Video

On 21 January 98 at 10:30 a.m., Red Bull Sauber Petronas celebrates the opening of the '98 formula 1 season with the event "The Symphony of Luck" at the Orangerie of Schönbrunn Castle in Vienna.

EUnet broadcasts via Internet the presentation of the Red Bull Sauber Petronas Formula 1-Team 98 and the music performance by the Viennese composer Christian Muthspiel, who composed a piece especially for this occasion.

This represents one in a series of live Internet broadcasts carried out by EUnet International. Broadcasting via the Internet is an optimal way of extending the coverage of an event to reach a larger scale audience, than would otherwise be expected. For example in November 1997 EUnet Internationals coverage of the OECD conference on Dismantling the Barriers to Global Electronic Commerce reached over 4000 viewers, many of whom would not normally have been able to witness the event.

EUnet Internationals Director of Product Development, Mr Johan Helsingius says that "Webcasting can effectively turn any organisation into a global broadcaster and open up virtually unlimited opportunities in such areas as marketing and promotion as well as education and training EUnet's own comprehensive Internet infrastructure and expertise plus its partnerships with leading companies in the field means that we have the power and flexibility to provide the solutions which will help businesses benefit from the latest technologies"
